Sonic’s universe is thrown into chaos when a mysterious new power takes effect, creating “time holes” that take Sonic and his friends back in time. This could be the best Sonic game ever made. The 2D and 3D areas manage to be fun, rhythmic, and different enough from each other to ensure complete gameplay. Of course, you had to rest on the laurels of nostalgia and the revamped areas of the old 2D games, but Generations is still a great experience.
